Care and cleaning

Use castor cups or felt pads under furniture legs. Sweep regularly to prevent dust and grit scratching the surface. Damp-mop once a week or as necessary, using a mild detergent. lf you like a slightly shiny surface, apply a specialist dressing (available from your supplier). The floor must be clean when the dressing is applied, and any excess dressing must be removed with a specialist product, also available from your supplier.

Resin floors are the most suitable in the shower room and kitchen. Instead of a specialist dressing you can use Wheelers Natural Wax Floor Polish. This is made from carnauba wax and is extremely easy to apply. After cleaning the floor, pour a small amount of wax (the recommended amount is 1 eggcupful for 2 square metres) and spread it evenly over the floor with a damp mop or cloth. Allow to dry without polishing. It gives a protective coating and a semi-gloss finish. It is easily removed with hot water – no need for specialist removers.
